Why You Should Be Careful Making Jokes On An Airplane

You should always be careful making jokes on an airplane! By now, you should know never to say "bomb" on an airplane. However, that's not the only thing you shouldn't do on a plane!

A woman sitting in an exit row has been arrested after joking that she wouldn't help during an emergency! You can't do that! You'll want to leave your sense of humor at the gate. Here's more on the story.

This happened recently on a Frontier flight out of Charlotte, North Carolina. According to The Express, a passenger was arrested after she allegedly refused to comply with exit row instructions which forced the entire flight to deboard. You never want to be responsible for the whole flight having to deboard. I've told some pretty bad jokes in my day, but I've never had one so bad it forced everyone off the plane!

Look, one of the first rules of comedy is to know your audience. Additionally, another rule of comedy is it's all about timing. Unfortunately, she went 0 for 2 on this one. Clearly, nobody told her these rules of comedy before she started unleashing the jokes. I can't believe people still think they can joke like this on an airplane! I feel like it should be engraved into our brains by now that we can't do that. There's a time and a place for everything and a plane is not the time for comedy.

Thankfully, people on the flight were quick with their phones and captured the incident on video. That video is now taking off on the world wide web. It's just the latest trending video to happen onboard of a plane. There have been doors flying off, a woman seeing things, and dog poop. Now, we have the comedy show.

Per The Express, The woman in question denied saying she would not comply with exit row rules and claimed other passengers were witnesses that she agreed to follow them. It doesn't seem like the passengers were on her side, though. They were trying to get her booted off the plane, too. According to The Express, The Federal Aviation Administration requires passengers in exit row seats to understand oral crew commands related to emergency evacuation, with flight attendants often required to received a verbal "yes" from them.

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about Chipotle selling new visor-napkin holders for the people who take too many napkins but want to be fashionable. Then, joke about what it would be like if Andy started wearing Chipotle merch because he likes it so much. I could see it! He'd be like a walking advertisement. Also, it would save a lot of time. Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a man who was abducted and kidnapped in Cambodia and forced to be a blood slave all while telemarketing to pay his own ransom.
