Here’s more on what to expect with the upcoming Fox special where male celebs will strip for charity.
Male Celebs Will Strip For Charity On The Real Full Monty
The Hollywood Reporter reports the special is expected to air in the Fall of 2024. It’s inspired by the 1997 movie The Full Monty. Anthony Anderson, who also serves as Executive Producer, says, “Don’t die of embarrassment. Get checked! That’s the message behind The Real Full Monty special. I am honored to lead the charge of rallying these fearless men to bare it all, in order to provoke, inspire and, in this case, beg you to get screened for cancer. That’s our goal…so what are you waiting for?”
Mandy Moore will lead the choreography for the strippers, per The Hollywood Reporter. This could be very helpful and could end up saving lives. It’s important for men to go and get checked and it can be an intimidating, stressful, anxiety-inducing situation. However, it’s always good to know that you are not alone!
It seems like it will be a mixture of sexy and funny. I’m sure Anthony Anderson’s dance will have a different vibe than Tyler Posey’s. If you think you’re uncomfortable getting checked–just imagine how they feel on-stage doing a strip for charity. Good on them for getting out of their comfort zone for a good cause.
