Parenting isn’t a black and white thing. There are different ways and methods to go about parenting and teaching children, and to each their own! There are common methods of parenting and some not-so-usual methods, as well. Now, a daycare is going viral for letting a little girl curse in the bathroom to get it out of her system.
Of course, this has the internet divided. Is this bad parenting? Or is it a genius plan? That’s for you to decide!

Some would call it bad parenting. Others say it’s desperation. However, some are saying it’s a plan that just might work! This daycare in Pennsylvania has been having issues with a little girl and her dirty mouth. Hey, it happens. Kids pick up what they hear. So, can we really blame the kid?
Well, somehow she recently picked up a new vocabulary. That new lexicon includes several swear words–including the notorious F-word. Now, she won’t stop showing off her new vocabulary in front of other kids and it’s becoming a problem. So, what do you do to try to fix it?
Her mom suggested the daycare stick her in the bathroom to let her get it all out of her system. She can go in there and privately get all the swear words out without influencing the other kids or setting a bad example. No harm, no foul, right?
The daycare agreed to go along with it in hopes that it can improve the situation for the girl and the rest of the class. With the mom’s permission, the daycare even set up a camera in the bathroom. Then, they shared the video on TikTok. Now, the video is going viral and features nearly a full minute of her swearing like a Sailor.
However, I’m curious how they were allowed to put a camera in the bathroom. Certainly, it wasn’t only used for her to go in there and swear. Weren’t the kids also going to the bathroom in there? I’m going to assume that the daycare did everything by the book in a way that’s okay with not just that one parent, but all of the parents.
