Check Out This Maynard Holiday Benefit Concert & Do Some Good
The Triple A Holiday Concert is a Maynard holiday benefit concert that aims to do a lot of good for the community.
The “Triple A” refers to the performers: Boston music scene staple Andrea Gillis, Boston Music Award winner Abbie Barrett, and Boston-by-way-of-L.A. vocalist Amber Angelina. Oh, DJ Panda will open the festivities and spin tunes between sets. Yes, he’s bucking the “Triple A” theme by not having an “A” in his name, but if he did, it would then be “Quadruple A” and that’s just confusing.
But wait! There’s another “A” at work! The event comes to us courtesy of Anngelle Wood, a Boston music scene mover, shaker, and headline maker. You might know Anngelle from her Crime of the Truest Kind New England crime podcast. You definitely know her as the current head honcho of the Rock & Roll Rumble. The show takes place at Sanctuary, 82 Main St. in Maynard on Saturday, December 16. Doors are at 6 p.m. Get your tickets and more details here. Oh, and please take note: “We will be collecting for the Maynard Food Pantry, please bring nonperishable items! We’re also proud to partner with “Green Maynard,” an organization dedicated to protecting and celebrating our connection to the natural environment.”
Also, Anngelle will be collecting unwrapped gifts for the Division of Children and Familes (DCF) Wonderfund in the Boston area. She’s been doing this for years and it’s wonderful to see the tradition continue. So get into it! There’s a Facebook event if you use that to organize your schedule.
