Recently, Costco has gotten themselves into the business of selling gold bars…and business is booming. One-ounce bars have been available through the retailer’s website but are typically sold out within hours of being announced as available for purchase. Demand has been so high, in fact, despite the $1,950 price tag per bar, that Costco placed a two-bar limit per customer for each purchase.
