There's a new Metallica live trailer to peep. It's for the upcoming Metallica: M72 World Tour Live From Arlington, TX two night event.

From the press release: "Presented in cinemas worldwide, this unprecedented global theatrical event brings Metallica’s M72 World Tour live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, to the big screen live in cinemas in the U.S." and beyond. It all goes down on on Friday, August 18 and Sunday, August 20 at 9:15 p.m., with encore showings on August 19 and August 21 9:00 p.m.

As the band has been advertising, these two-night events they have spread out over the next year will feature two completely different Metallica setlists on each night. And everything is on the table, setlist-wise: from 1983's Kill 'Em All through 2023's 72 Seasons. "You won’t see the same song twice for a total of over 30 songs across both nights." That's pretty friggin' cool for Metallica fans.

There's merch, too. Of course. The fellas from Metallica have created a special event t-shirt to mark the occasion of these monumental shows. You can take a look and pick yours up here. And if you're looking for a local theatre to take in the screenings, you can get a list of those and work on picking up your tickets over here. We're only a month out from the event, so don't sleep on it.

Of course, we're still a ways away from those Metallica shows at Gillette Stadium. Those take place in August of next year: August 2 and August 4, 2024. Yes, that's over a year from now. But we're not messing around: you can enter to win your tickets now. Take a moment and do that here, then take a look at the new trailer below, featuring footage from the band's European tour stops from earlier this year.
