Far from the nearest coast, Ziv uses steaming hot saline water pumped from an ancient aquifer 600 meters below ground level to raise about 15,000 fish at any one time, mainly Australian bass and striped bass which have been adapted to the water’s relatively-low salinity. The water is then recycled and used to irrigate the Kibbutz’s fields. Increasing populations and economic growth are stretching the supply of fresh water all over the Middle East, and it is feared that future conflicts in the area will be over water sources rather than the politics and religion that have marked regional conflicts to date. A guy in Wisconsin is in the news after making friends with a fish. He goes snorkeling in the same lake each summer, and a smallmouth bass he calls "Elvis" has taken a liking to him.
They meet in the same spot, and he feeds him crawfish. If other fish get too close, he gets jealous.
Lisa Way’s Favorite Dogs!
The biggest animal lover on the Dave and Chuck the Freak show is without a doubt Lisa Way!
She's often described as "Snow White" with the different types of animals she has showing up at her home and interactions she's experienced with wild life. One of her favorite types of animals, like a lot of people, are dogs!
Before I get into the list of my favorite dog breeds, I have to say that probably the best dogs you can have are at our local shelters. They appreciate you giving them a loving home and will forever say thank you!

Saint Bernard

Every time I see one out, I lose my mind with excitement. They are huge, which means a lot goes into having one, including cleaning up massive poops and slobber.
Boston Terrier

Small but oh so cool looking. I don't know anything about their personalities, but again, when I see one, you'd think I saw a rock star.

Way too popular, but I think for a good reason. They make me laugh. If only they could swim.

And last but not least, my Golden Retriever Douglas! They are the best dogs on earth. Funny, mischievous, stubborn, sweet, and kind. The online community with devotion to this breed makes me feel normal in the obsessive love I have for them.
