Britney Spears Calls TMZ ‘Trashiest News’ Following Documentary
Honoree Britney Spears attends the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 12, 2018 in Beverly Hills, California.
Britney Spears has a message for gossip website TMZ following their recent documentary of her life, post-conservatorship. Taking to her Instagram account yesterday, Spears, 41, called them the “trashiest news channel.”
The “Hold Me Closer” singer discussed the aftermath she endured during her 13-year conservatorship. She made it clear that she has worked hard “everyday to be a better person since it’s been over.” Spears sarcastically commended TMZ‘s “concern and just effort” adding, “Damn I’m flattered!!! These men who I have no idea who they are, are talking about me as if they have any right at all to do so!!!”
Clearing the Air
Spears has often called out the media coverage and paparazzi. In her Thursday post, she called out the media’s “cruel” treatment towards her. Britney wanted to comment because “some people” might believe her and she cares. “I almost feel like my life in the business has always been that girl at school who was bullied and laughed at,” she continued. “But in my case there is no superior person to set it straight!!!”
She called out her father, Jamie Spears, who was in charge of her conservatorship. Though he was “supposed to protect” his daughter’s “mind and heart from things of this matter,” he was “secretly loving it.” As we previously reported, Britney is working on a memoir. She gave her 42 million followers an update on the status of her book, which she initially said would be finished last year. “I’ve had to stop a couple of times !!! It may take me a year, maybe longer who knows … to share my story !!!”

Britney Spears Reveals Her Incurable Nerve Damage, Still Loves Dancing
Britney Spears’ dance videos on Instagram have long fascinated fans. Some have felt that the videos are a cry for help, while others interpreted it as the singer being free to do as she pleases, post-conservatorship. Now, Spears has attributed her dance videos to something that helps her alleviate an incurable pain.
Taking to Instagram Sunday (November 6), the “Hold Me Closer” singer posted a video wearing a red crop top and low-rise shorts dancing and spinning along to Foster The People’s 2011 hit “Pumped Up Kicks.” In a lengthy caption, Spears, 40, wrote, “yes … nerve damage on the right side of my body … there’s no cure except God I guess … nerve damage is caused sometimes when you don’t get enough oxygen to your brain … your brain literally shuts down … blah blah blah old story …”

The pop star continues to say that “in that place I didn’t breathe when I was there …,” alluding to the medical facility she placed in against her will. “nerve damage causes parts of your body to go numb. I wake up like 3 times a week in bed and my hands are completely numb … nerves are tiny and it feels like pins and needles from the right side of my body it shoots up to my neck and the part that hurts the worst is my temple on my head … it stings and it’s scary … the last 3 years since I got out of that place I’ve been in a mild unconscious state … I couldn’t face it. It was like it was too scary to be here …”
Spears called her Instagram, which she has 41.7 million followers, “not up to par to most.” But, she says, her account gave her “existence and got me here.” She finished her post by telling fans that “it’s funny though when I dance I don’t feel the pain … it’s like my mind literally goes to a place of my inner child. And although I don’t move like I use to … I truly believe my faith in it gave me strength … by the grace of God I finally found a medication where I actually feel oxygen going to my brain and through my neck … my eyes are more open now and I can hold my head up correctly … I’ve done a good job trying to pull it off. Either way I’m getting a lot better, I can breathe … I feel smarter because well, Jesus I can breathe now … either way, I’m breathing now and I can dance in time.”
Fans commented on the video posted by Spears with concern, despite her caption. One person wrote, “Reposting again? Something seems off lately,” while another said, “It’s the same video over and over… it’s getting sad.” Another fan commented, “We thought you moved from this house?” “You posted this an hour ago and deleted. And now again? Weird. Your keepers aren’t doing their best,” wrote another person.
