Carly Pearce will be performing her current single, "What He Didn't Do," tonight (12/6) on The Voice semi-finals results show. We had a chance to catch up with Carly and ask her about her performance. She also shared her thoughts on coach Blake Shelton, whom she will be touring with in 2023, announcing that Season 23 of The Voice, which kicks off on March 6, 2023, on NBC, will be his last season on the show.

Pearce told us of tonight's performance, "I am so excited to be performing on The Voice ... ['What He Didn't Do'] is so special to me. It feels like one of those special moments in my career that I'll look back and just know that this was a special song, and I was meant to write the song and meant to perform it." She added, "I am not performing with any of the contestants, although I totally would. And yes, this show makes me very nervous because I have to sing in front of people like Camila Cabello and John Legend and Gwen Stefani, and my tourmate, Blake Shelton. So, I might throw up."

As for her tourmate Blake leaving the show, Carly said, "Oh my goodness, I don't feel like there would be The Voice as we know it if Blake Shelton was not the judge. I think about what he has done for country music by being on that show, his humor, his talent, his awareness of what artists need to go from that show to becoming superstars. I just think he's everybody's best friend, and I think he was always that, but The Voice made everybody in America and beyond aware of that." She added, "And Blake, you are somebody that you know that I look up to you so much, and somebody that will forever be such a big part of country music, and I'm so proud of what you have done with The Voice, and I know that the shoes will be so big to fill."
