Professional poker player Robbi Jade Lew — who happens to be a relative newcomer on the poker scene — won an all-in pot of $269-thousand in a game against longtime pro Garrett Adelstein.
The shocking victory, which was livestreamed from the Hustler Casino in Southern California, led Adelstein to accuse Lew of cheating, suggesting that she used a “device hidden that simply vibrates to indicate you have the best hand.”
In the aftermath, Lew says Adelstein took her outside of the gambling hall and threatened her in a dark hallway.
Adelstein revealed on social media that Lew offered to return the money he lost, which he accepted — and perceived to be a sign of her guilt.
And Hustler Casino has said neither player will be invited to return until the incident had been investigated.
