If you’ve been putting this particular thing off, it could get you a $75 gift card in Boston on Saturday if you get it done.
The thing? Getting vaccinated or boosted against COVID-19. Boston.com reports that “Anyone 18 and under who gets vaccinated or boosted Saturday at White Stadium will get the reward, as well as any parent or guardian who gets vaccinated or boosted with them.” This is all part of the latest family vaccination event being run by the Boston Public Health Commission.
Said Dr. Bisola Ojikutu, commissioner of Public Health and executive director of the Boston Public Health Commission, in a statement from the Boston.com piece: “There is a critical need to improve vaccination uptake among school-aged children in Boston, and it is important for all eligible individuals to get the new bivalent omicron-specific booster. This event is another opportunity for us to break down barriers to care and bring COVID vaccines and boosters directly to our communities.”
Here’s How To Score a $75 Gift Card in Boston on Saturday
So here’s the skinny. First thing you’ll want to do is register for Saturday’s event. You can do that here. The Boston Public Health Commission said that they will accept walk-ins, but they strongly encourage registration, given the high turnout of their last vaccination event. Apparently, over 700 people showed up to get their initial COVID-19 vaccine or their booster!
Once you’re registered, you’ll be good to go. And again, the perk is for anyone 18 or under who gets vaccinated or boosted. And it’s for any parent or guardian who gets boosted with them. White Stadium is located in Franklin Park, at 450 Walnut Ave. in Boston. Oh, and the “while supplies last” caveat is in effect, so don’t delay. And if you need more information, you can get that here on the City of Boston’s website.
