The Most-Feared Bug of the Summer Is…

As part of a recent survey, a bug repellent company asked people what bug they are fearing the most this summer, and unlike the past two summers, it isn't COVID-19.

This summer, 45% of people said they feared mosquitoes the most, 17% said they feared flies, especially those that bite, and a tie for third in the vote went to wasps and bees, each garnering 14% of the vote.

According to the survey, people also fear ticks, but it is unclear what percentage of them were afraid of ticks.

It should be noted that ants, roaches, and fruit flies were also potential irritating summer pests that could have made the list.
