A 31-year-old mom in England had to undergo an emergency surgery after a Covid test mishap.
The mom took an at home Covid test after not feeling well. She used a six-inch Covid test swab in her throat instead of her nose and swallowed it by mistake.
The swab got stuck in her throat causing her to gag. She couldn’t remove it so she swallowed it and it got stuck further down her throat.
It ended up in her stomach and needed to be removed through surgery.
