Devastating news from the Brighton-Brookline border, as the building that houses Zippah Recording was gutted by an eight-alarm fire early this morning.

Vanyaland was the first with the news, which they shared as the blaze was happening. Zippah founder (and member of Boston band The Sheila Divine) is safe, but understandingly devastated. The studio has recorded literally hundreds of acts over the last three decades, both local and national. We're anticipating a fundraising campaign, and will share that information when it becomes available.

UPDATE: The Zippah Recording Recovery Fund has been started on GoFundMe. Donate here.
