Stephen Colbert’s “Lord of the Rings” Rap Brings Cast Together for 20th Anniversary
This is, quite frankly, the biggest moment The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has had since making fun of Dave & Chuck the Freak earlier this year.
Like Mr. Colbert, I’m a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings films. So it was satisfying to see him fired up about the lack of attention being paid to the trilogy’s 20th anniversary this month. The Late Show more than made up for it with a star-studded rap send-up that doubled as a quasi-reunion of a good chunk of the cast. Take a look below and keep your eyes peeled for hobbits and elves and, well, Method Man!
