Long distance lovers were married over Zoom after starting an online relationship during lockdown AND never meeting in person.

Ayse from Lancaster, and Darrin from Michigan, met thanks to a pen pals Facebook group during lockdown.  They actually met after Ayse had started communicating with Darrin's mother and once they got put in touch they hit it off together.

They had daily video chats and weekly virtual date nights and even planned to meet in person but the pandemic had put travel restrictions in place that prevented them from getting together in person.

They didn't want COVID to delay their relationship and back in May Darrin proposed.  Then opted to marry via Zoom in a legal ceremony officiated in Utah on August 19th.
