You couldn’t buy tickets to the Rolling Stones concert at Gillette Stadium last night, you probably didn’t even hear about it beforehand.

In a private party, hosted by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, performed for an audience for the first time since the death of longtime bandmate Charlie Watts.

According to the Boston Globe, the band played around 15 songs for a crowd of approximately 300 movers and shakers on the New England scene.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker was among the attendees, along with Peter Wolf from J. Geils Band, Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck, UFC’s Dana White, to name a few of the notables who rocked out on the stadium field.

Mick Jagger shared video of their tribute to Charlie Watts.

This isn’t the first time Kraft has hosted the Stones, he did so at Gillette a few years back in 2016.
