July 10, 1991. A little-known band from the Pacific Northwest made their way to Boston for the very first time to play a gig on Lansdowne Street.
Pearl Jam's first-ever Boston appearance was on the bill of a show presented by alternative station WFNX. They joined local favorites Buffalo Tom and The Lemonheads at Citi on Lansdowne St. (you probably remember it as Avalon). And while there's no audio or video of the gig that we've been able to find, you can check out the setlist here and peep the concert poster below.
