Lindsey Buckingham Splits with Wife After 21 Years of Marriage

Lindsey Buckingham and his wife, Kristen Messner, are divorcing after 21 years of marriage.

Per TMZ, Messner filed divorce papers in Los Angeles County recently with the outlet noting, "It's unclear at this point if she and Lindsey have discussed any terms yet of the split." Buckingham and Messner had three children together, with their youngest child being 17.

News of Messner's divorce filing came on the same day Buckingham announced a new self-titled solo album, which is his first solo LP since 2011's Seeds We Sow. Buckingham's new album is due out September 17 and is available for pre-order in multiple formats here.

Buckingham will also be hitting the road this fall on a 30-city tour of the United States in support of his new album beginning September 1 in Milwaukee. A complete list of tour dates is below.
