This might be the last Bandcamp Friday for awhile, so take advantage of the opportunity to help local artists stay afloat during the waning pandemic.

If you've yet to check out Bandcamp, they’re the music discovery site that puts the most money into the hands of artists that create music. Much, MUCH more money than Spotify or Pandora or any of the others. And on Bandcamp Friday, artists make even more:

On the first Friday of every month since March, we’ve waived our revenue share to help support the many artists who have seen their livelihoods disrupted by the pandemic. Over the course of these nine days, fans paid artists and labels $40 million dollars, helping cover rents, mortgages, groceries, medications, and much more. If you’re among the nearly 800,000 fans who participated, thank you.

See? Everybody wins: you get cool music, and the artists you buy music from get a bigger cut. You can click here to start discovering music. Oh, and you can check out my Bandcamp page here to see (and hear) what I’ve been listening to.
