“Hocus Pocus 2” is coming… and it plans to begin production in Salem this summer/early fall!
According to The DisInsider, the long-awaited sequel to the Halloween classic “Hocus Pocus” has replaced it’s original director with Anne Fletcher. Adam Shankman had to step down due to a scheduling conflict, and Fletcher, the director of “Step Up,” is taking his place.
It is scheduled to begin filming later this summer in Salem, according to a post from Boston’s Wicked North Shore. The film will see the return of all three Sanderson sisters, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy reprising their original roles. The film is set to be released in 2022.
