Massachusetts Halts Johnson & Johnson Vaccinations
If you’re scheduled to get the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine anytime soon, it’s not happening.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has ordered an immediate halt in using the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This order follows the CDC and FDA recommendations of ‘pause’ in using the vaccine after reports of blood clots in six women after receiving the vaccine.

The CDC says this pause is “out of an abundance of caution” and will meet on Wednesday to further review these cases and assess their potential significance.
