What started as a way to pass the time on Twitter quickly snowballed into a short list of classic Boston rock venues.

Boston-based artist and producer Haasan Barclay tweeted this last week.

Good Time Emporium in Somerville. What a blast from the past. So I decided to chime in with my own.

And then the floodgates opened.

Axis, Avalon, Spit...talk about a trip down memory lane. Makes me miss live music even more than I already did, a year into the Coronavirus pandemic. And speaking of live music, vote in this week's poll.
