We know what you're thinking: if it's a working guitar made out of a real skeleton, it has to be called a "Skelecaster," right? Right.

All hail Prince Midnight, the inventive metalhead behind this macabre-yet-cool-as-hell project. The story goes like this: Prince Midnight's Uncle Filip died in a car crash 20 years ago in his native Greece. His skeleton was donated to a local college for use by medical students. Now, the college has no use for it. And it can't be cremated. So, after yards and yards of red tape, Prince Midnight had the box of bones shipped to him in Florida and got to work.

Now: BEHOLD! THE SKELECASTER! A fully-functional guitar made out of a skeleton!

Metal Sucks has the full story and plenty of pics.
