Nine Inch Nails' song "Hurt" will be the subject of an episode in the second season of the Netflix series Song Exploder.

Netflix released the trailer from the show's second season, which will also feature The Killers, Natalia Lafourcade and Dua Lipa.

Per Netflix, "Song Exploder, based on the hit podcast, spotlights some of the world's greatest musicians as they reveal how they brought one of their songs to life."

"Hurt" is the closing track on NIN's second studio album 1994's The Downward Spiral. The song reached new heights of popularity in 2002 when it was covered by Johnny Cash and featured on his album American IV: The Man Comes Around.

Season two of Song Exploder hits the streaming platform on December 15. The trailer can be viewed below. Season one of Song Exploder is available now and features a behind-the-scenes look at the making of R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion."
