Peter Green, guitarist and co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, was honored with an all-star tribute concert in February just before the world shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, that incredible show will screen in theaters and be available as a live album.
Mick Fleetwood & Friends Celebrate The Music of Peter Green will hit select theaters in March 2021. A trailer for the concert can be viewed below. The album release of the concert is due out April 30, 2021 and is currently available for pre-order at MickFleetwoodAndFriends.com.
In addition to Mick Fleetwood, other artists that performed at this show included Steven Tyler, Neil Finn, Noel Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammett, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Jeremy Spencer, Zak Starkey, Pete Townshend, and Bill Wyman. Among the songs performed during the 23-song set were "Rattlesnake Shake," "Stop Messin' Around," "The Green Manalishi" and "Albatross."
