The data shows a record number of Massachusetts residents have already cast their votes in the 2020 Election. This is for the rest of us.
If you're visiting the polls on Election Day, here's some information to keep handy. Polls are open across the Commonwealth from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. When polls close at 8, if you're already in line, you still get to vote. If you are turned away at the polls, you can say: "Please give me a provisional ballot with a receipt as required by law.”
Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by today--Tuesday, November 3--and received by a local election official by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 6 to be counted. If you completed your ballot at home, be sure to bring it to a drop box or to your local election office by the time polls close: 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3.
Also, Attorney General Maura Healy reminds us that voter intimidation and election interference are illegal. You can report issues you see or experience yourself to her office at 617-963-2917.
More information can be found on Secretary of State William Galvin's website. You can also track your ballot here. So vote! Because if you don't vote, you don't get to bitch!
