Rats are running the city of Boston...or at least running through it.
According to boston.com, pest control company Orkin has declared that Boston takes lucky #13 on the "rattiness" scale for specialists to be called for rodent treatments in commercial or residential areas. Did you know that type of scale existed?
“The pandemic-driven closure of restaurants forced rodents to find new food sources,” the company said. “Without food waste to consume, these pests were seen scavenging new areas and exhibiting unusual or aggressive behavior.
As we are heading into winter, rodents look for two things. Food and shelter. Make sure you are aware of what attracts rodents so you aren't one to call a pest control specialist any time soon.
