Starting Thursday, October 22, all students in the Boston Public Schools system will return to remote-only learning, the Boston Globe reports.
This decision is being made in the wake of Boston’s coronavirus positivity rate rising to 5.7 percent last week, up from 4.4 percent and 4.1 percent the two previous weeks. When the positivity rate drops below 5 percent for two straight weeks, in-person learning will resume for high-needs students in an opt-in capacity.
