With AC/DC in the news for their forthcoming album Power Up, we thought it would be a good time to dust off an old gig of theirs.

Back in August of 1977, AC/DC was touring the states in support of their Let Their Be Rock album, opening for REO Speedwagon. On an off night, they were booked to play the legendary CBGB in New York City. The club of course was a haven for punk and new wave--the band shared the bill that night with Talking Heads and the Dead Boys, fittingly--but that didn't stop the Aussie rockers from tearing up the stage. It's a short set, and you can listen to it below.
