SNL does it again. With local comedian-gone-national Bill Burr hosting (shout out to the 02021!) anyone who waited out the show until the end got treated to a fake commercial of epic proportions.
This time it was for Sam Adams new pumpkin beer. They nail the accent, the attitude, and if you subscribe to the theory that pumpkin beer is crap, Bill's character tells it like it is. (BTW-if you love craft beer. pumpkin or not, vote for your favorite here in our Boston's Best Brewery Brackets.)
Also, Mikey Day plays the same character he played in this now famous Casey Affleck Dunkin Donuts fake commercial from 2016. Here's hoping they keep coming back to these hi-os. Because you know they're like the dudes you grew up with.
