Belushi, the upcoming authorized documentary about legendary comedic actor John Belushi, has released its first trailer.

Embedded below, the trailer features photos and behind-the-scenes footage of Belushi throughout his acclaimed and wild television and film career. Made with the corporation of his widow, Judy Belushi Pisano, and directed by R.J. Cutler, Belushi features a number of new interviews from those that knew him best including Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi, Penny Marshall, Lorne Michaels, Carrie Fisher, Chevy Chase, Harold Ramis, Jane Curtin and Ivan Reitman.

In the YouTube description of the trailer, the documentary “…captures the complicated and singular essence of a beloved American icon who changed culture and comedy forever.”

Belushi premieres on Showtime on Sunday, November 22 at 9 PM ET.
