Adam 12

11am - 4 pm

September 20, 1980. After spending a decade out in front of the world’s preeminent metal band, Ozzy Osbourne goes solo. So let’s do some math.

That’s 10 years Ozzy spent with Black Sabbath. And it’s been another 40 as a solo artist. A 50-year career spanning 7 decades. And, thanks to some recent health scares that Ozzy’s been able to beat back with rest and rehab, there’s no sign it’s stopping anytime soon. Just don’t hold out hope for that Sabbath reunion.

Instead, let’s celebrate Blizzard of Ozz at 40. Consequence of Sound has the skinny on the album reissue–and accompanying vintage merch drop. And we have a new animated video for “Crazy Train” that debuted over the weekend to mark the 40th anniversary. All aboard!
