Give it up for Rose Grossi, who just celebrated her 106th birthday at Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood, MA.
“Happy birthday? One-hundred-six years old? What’s happy about that?” quipped Grossi in a recent interview with Boston 25 News. I'd say she has a lot to be thankful for! Born in 1914, she contracted the Spanish Flu as a young girl in Portugal in 1918. She survived. Earlier this spring, she had symptoms of COVID-19. She fought it and survived.
That's one badass 106-year-old.
