Never get between a man and his dream. Paul Nichols had a vision and was willing to spend over $41K to make it a reality.
After picking up an old Pontiac Trans Am for $20K, he spend the next year-and-a-half customizing it to make it an exactly replica of KITT from the classic TV show “Knight Rider,” even down to the LED lights on the front and the voice, which he downloaded onto a playlist. Nichols figures it’ll take another $10.5K to perfect the engine bay, but it’s enough of a head-turner in its current shape.
