The city of Salem, Massachusetts has announced preliminary plans for the month of October and things aren’t looking good for Halloween revelers.
As expected, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is putting a damper on plans, with the expectations that the city’s Haunted Happenings–a slate of events that draws thousands and thousands of Halloween enthusiasts from across New England–will be scaled back or cancelled altogether.
