For once, Noel Gallagher of Oasis has some smack to talk about someone in his former band that isn't his brother Liam.

On a recent podcast appearance, Gallagher shared that Oasis co-founder and guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs was slated to provide lead vocals on a track on their debut album Definitely Maybe, not unlike how the Beatles would always give Ringo a track to sing on. Sadly, things didn't work out.

Says Gallagher: “We tried to do it on both albums and it turned out shit, which I know is kind of the point right, but it was like really shit. And I kid you fucking not, [he was] maybe the most appalling singer I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Appalling. No sense of anything.”
