Neil Young's long-shelved Homegrown is due out on Friday, June 19th, but we have it here for you to listen to a day early.
In the mid-'70s, Young hit an incredible creative stride, with albums like On The Beach and Tonight's the Night. Homegrown would have slotted right in between those two on the timeline, but Young decided to shelve it, as it was a breakup album and Young didn't want to put out back-to-back bummers (go back and listen to On The Beach and you'll understand).
Songs from the album's sessions have made it out into the world on various other releases over the years, but this is the first time fans have had access to the original album in it's full, 1975 form. Click here to give it a spin.
