12 Inch Poll: The Biggest Rock Hall Snub
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame reopened earlier this week, and that gives us an opportunity to revisit this age-old Rock Hall debate.
The Rock Hall is notorious for vexing fans every year with their lists of nominees and inductees. You know the routine: Artist A gets nominated and inducted immediately, while the seemingly more deserving Artist B languishes on the nomination list for decades. And, as evidenced by this year’s outcome, the “Fan Vote” doesn’t mean much at all.
So here’s the subject of this week’s 12 Inch Poll: which snubbed artist is the most deserving of enshrinement in the Rock Hall? Is it Pat Benetar, who owned ’80s rock and has been passed over for 21 years? Is it a metal legend like Judas Priest or Iron Maiden, who’ve been in limbo for 16 years? Or is it a newer, influential act like Rage Against The Machine or Soundgarden, who’ve been waiting almost a decade for the call?
Cast your vote below. And sound off on the ROCK 92.9 Facebook and Twitter. This poll only covers bands who’ve been nominated; if you shout out enough deserving bands who haven’t, we can put together a whole new poll next week.
