A passenger in a car that was driving in Vermont is in some trouble. Police reports allege that on Tuesday the man threw a strange object that struck a highway worker.According to records the man threw a “large pickle” at a highway worker. It hit the worker in the back and the police report says it, quote, “caused him pain” . . . so the guy is facing assault charges.

Man Busted For Striking Vermont Highway Worker With "Large Pickle"
A Massachusetts resident is facing an assault charge after allegedly striking a highway worker with a "large pickle" thrown from a moving vehicle. According to police, Christoph Herrmannsdoerfer, 34, was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling yesterday afternoon on U.S. Route 7 in Vermont.
