Dolphins in Australia’s Tin Can Bay apparently miss people so much they’ve started bringing gifts like pieces of coral and old bottles onto the beach to try to get them to come back.
The dolphins usually interacted with visitors but it’s been weeks since visitors have stopped by to interact or feed the animals because of coronavirus restrictions.
Why these friendly dolphins are bringing in gifts from the sea
A pod of dolphins in Queensland has been bringing ashore gifts from the sea - apparently because they're missing interaction with humans. The humpback dolphins usually mingle with visitors at Barnacles Cafe & Dolphin Feeding at Tin Can Bay, north of the Sunshine Coast.
