Update:  Governor Baker’s full re-opening plan announced. Details here.  

 

A few details of Governor Baker’s opening plan have been reported, according to a Boston Globe article. 

Although not official, the Globe obtained info and shared a preview of what the Governor might announce today as he reveals his plan to gradually re-open the state from the Coronavirus shutdown.

May 18-Manufacturing, outside construction, and houses of worship can open following specific social distancing and health guidelines

May 25-Offices can open at 25% capacity to start (Boston offices June 1 at 10% capacity to start), barbershops, hair salons, recreational marijuana shops, retail curbside pick-up, and elective procedures at hospitals, MBTA remains on reduced schedule

Not known yet:  Restaurants, independent child care, gyms, small business shops.

We’re still awaiting a time for the Governor’s announcement.
