A 70-year-old Florida man pawned his truck earlier this year. Since that time he had issues making the pawn payment.

The pawn shop was trying to work with the man but he took matters into his own hands.  He brought out his spare truck and went to the pawn shop and took the truck back. Cops eventually tracked the man and the stolen truck down.  He told police he did it because of the coronavirus.


Police: Accused Auto Thief Claimed The Coronavirus Made Him Do It

A man arrested Saturday for auto theft claimed the coronavirus made him do it, cops say. According to investigators, Alvin Rementer, 70, in late-January pawned his 2000 Chevrolet Silverado for $1500 at Pawn Depot in St. Petersburg, Florida.
