For years, it was rumored that the music of David Gilmour was featured in a scene from the 1995 film Hackers. Turns out the rumors are true.

Stereogum reports that yes, it is the man himself and Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt noodling around in the background of a pivotal scene in the cult classic. And, thanks to a 25th Anniversary Record Store Day release of the Original Soundtrack, the song will be available for the first time. Listen to it below.

Hackers kinda ruled. Might need to watch this one again.
