When Joey Ramone died in 2001 and Johnny Ramone died in 2004, the Ramones legacy was up in the air. Now, their heirs have come to an agreement.

Joey's brother Mitchel Hyman and Johnny's widow Linda Cummings-Ramone each own 50% of Ramone Productions, Inc. But Mitchell took umbrage at Cummings-Ramone adding "Ramone" to her name (legally) in 2014 and referring to her Los Angeles home as "Ramones Ranch." Why? Because these actions "dilute the intellectual property" of the Ramones. Or something.

Late in 2019, the two parties came to an agreement and everything is AOK now in Ramonesland. Can I say Ramonesland? Or am I "diluting the intellectual property?" Look, as long as I can buy Ramones t-shirts and Funko Pops, I'm down with whatever. Let's celebrate by watching my favorite-ever Ramones live performance.
