Green Day took part in some cooking fun with everyone’s favorite odd couple friendship, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, as the duo stepped in as guest hosts of The Ellen Show.

The band, Stewart and Snoop demonstrated a few simple dishes to make if you’re throwing an Oscar viewing party, since the Oscars are taking place this Sunday, February 9th. Among those items were a fun cocktail, pizza and a lovely pig in a blanket dish. The whole crew engaged in awkward, witty batter. As someone getting over a cold, it was stranger than any of the weird NyQuil-induced dreams I’ve had this past week.

Green Day would also go on to perform “Oh Yeah” from their new album Father of All… on The Ellen Show. That, too, was a little bizarre especially when cameras would pan to the very-unpunk crowd who were engaging in mild pogoing. Either way, everyone seemed to be having fun. That’s what really matters, besides picking up Green Day’s new album today, right?
