As of now, there's no official announcement yet. But if "industry sources" are to be believed, the announcement could be coming soon.

According to reputable music blog Consequence of Sound, Rage Against The Machine are set to join the already-announced Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters as the third headliner for this year's Boston Calling Music Festival, taking place at Harvard Athletic Complex May 22-24. Tickets are already on sale.

My mind is blown. If we are indeed getting headlining sets by Rage, RHCP, and Foo for this year's Boston Calling, it could wind up being the biggest iteration of the festival yet. It brings to mind the WBOS Earth Fests and WFNX Hatch Shell shows of the 90s and the WBCN River Raves of 20 years ago.

Watch this space for updates.
