Seemingly out of nowhere, Rage Against the Machine announced five reunion shows for 2020, with two of those shows being headlining sets at Coachella. No additional dates have been announced, nor has there been any confirmation about the potential of new music.

Last year, Rage Against The Machine tipped their hand when announcing their reunion dates for 2020. Now it's official: they're the Friday headliner for this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. So who else on this year's bill rocks?
To start with, Rage will have working-class Brit punks IDLES and Toronto punks PUP joining them on the Friday lineup. Radiohead's Thom Yorke has a solo set slated for Saturday, and 90s techno giant Fatboy Slim takes the stage on Sunday.
What makes the Coachella announcement interesting each year is the domino effect it has on all the other big festival announcements, including Boston Calling.
