Michael Jackson’s Daughter Says She Skipped Prom to See Metallica Concert

Most metalheads, if given the choice between attending their prom or seeing a Metallica concert, would likely choose the latter. For Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, she actually was faced with that decision and made the wise decision of opting for Metallica.

She briefly touched on that decision in a new video for Vogue that shows she and her brother, Prince, getting ready for the Motown's 60th anniversary celebration. When Paris changed into her second look for the event, she said of the dress, "...I feel like a princess. I never actually went to prom. I skipped it to go see Metallica, so this feels nice."

Before that moment, Paris and Prince also had a fun back-and-forth about when Paris first got into metal and how Prince is revisiting the Motley Crue catalog.

Funny how the King of Pop's kids turned out to be metalheads, isn't it?
