Ben Thompson is the head basketball coach at Emory & Henry College, and he found a great way to announce to his team that he and his wife are expecting. He gathered the players and coaches in an affirmation circle.
And when it circled back to him at the end, he announced that they have a new player. Then he took off his sweatshirt to reveal a T-shirt with “Dad” written on it. He said, “Your old coach is going to be a dad.”
